My mind was going into a ravenous rampage
Malevolent metaphors would blister the page
Did that sniveling diva of disguise
Hope to smear me with her lies
Always acting like a twaddling twit
Getting herself embroiled in a snit
But wait, if I answer in kind I'll be just like her
Though the name calling helps to calm my fur
I'd best count to ten and think things over
There is surely a wiser way to reproach her
Lay out the truth use no illusions
Let others draw their own conclusions
I won't lower my demeanor to her sphere
I'll do better if I lift her up in prayer
Yeah I know people prefer an all out mud and gore
Yep, the same people who shout for an end to war
Makes me wonder if peace will ever occur
When we're in a cycle of taking on every him or her
eT-2006
Peace to you.

It's best to rise above the battle, and keep your thick skinned coat on...:)
Works for me...

have to resort to these type of tactics.
I know there are no answers there.
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(
I was especially tickled with several choices of words: "ravenous rampage, diva of disguise, mud and gore," and my favorite had to be:
"twaddling twit."
Man oh man did that ever conjure up images of some of the English Lit teachers I suffered under.
Good job and
Oodles of blessings to you and yours,
Richard
When attacked, the best thing to do is not to launch a counter-attack; I've had to learn that one. Extar prayers are being said for you today. :) An excellent write, well done!
