There's a wondrous refuge for lovers seeking to be free out from under the deluge of those who are contrary the map's not hard to find that will get us to the place of what we left behind in times worldly rat race if we will cling together never let the outside in ignore the stormy weather trust the spirit that's within oh what joy can be obtained when bound love is let loose we won't keep it contained only fools give it a noose let our joyful journey begin as we travel to our new lair fever raising under our skin so happy we're almost there

A liberal lady priest-friend of mine, who would greatly love to start a church for the more "artistically inclined", loves to cite the words of a wonderful aged spinster missionary, framed forever in her mind as saying "It is the poets and lovers who get there first". Amen to that! Only the poets and the lovers have half a clue what God's purposes are all about. It is so important for lovers, couples to be alone free of the outside world to nuture their love. Beautiful reminder. Love is the greatest gift in all forms and levels of it.

Often times couples do not make the time to 'run away' some good adise in this poem is fun to read.
