The Paradox of Armageddon Armageddon is, given its reputation, a slightly disappointing place to visit. ~~**~~ I write it as it happened, when I was ill with fever....
The thunderous sounds and earth shaking vibrations awakened me,and it looked like I was surrounded by fires, high leaping flames that reached towards the sky with nothing else visible...
All was surreal, as I walked among smouldering debri,alone and unaware of my locality
A phrase kept repeating in my mind "The first feather of acaba gives you access to,all places in the Ancient city of Meggido." Where it came from I didn't know
I had on, a long raincoat and boots.I searched my pockests and found the feather,the size of a medium bird feather it was white,with some streaks of grey.
Suddenly I was entering a cave ,with chanting sounds that were familiar to me, still there was no one I could see
Then a voice said "Welcome sky feather,we have been awaiting your arrival,please be seated here next to your guardian."
I sat next to the man I didn't know as he welcomed me saying,"I was hoping you felt well enough to come, are you better now?"
I sat,then answered,"I'm sorry,but I don't know you or where I am, In fact I'm not sure I even know who I am."
He seemed unconcerned and said"It's probably the medication,just sit and rest for awhile and we'll see what happens I'm your guardian David, and you are Eileen,called Sky Feather by the tribe."
He was very soothing, and made me feel assured that I shouldn't worry,so I leaned back and relaxed.I felt very serene, and said,"Thank you David"
I closed my eyes and soon I had a vision of myself flying over a place they call Armaggedon in Israel but when I opened my eyes I was at home in bed and lying on the covers next to me, near my hand was a white feather
The only sense I could make of it all was high fevered dreams, except for the feather, that remains a mystery...

ps~I did have a similar white feather, but lost it a long time ago. Could I have found it in my sleep? I don't think so,I never walked in my sleep,it is a chilling mystery to me...
"truth is stranger than fiction" and "he works in mysterious ways" i enjoyed this because it allows the mind to open and expand the 3D "illusion" world we've been taught to accept, knowing there is so much more...fyi...11/11 is a significant "portal" opening within shamanic astrology and much other worldly knowledge flows into those who are open to receive..your fevered condition could allow your mind to be more open than usual

What a wonderful guardian angel you have. He gave you comfort and told you to rest and left you with a tangible reminder that he is real. It's no mystery. You are truly blessed. I believe in guardian angels and that God gave them to us, to provide support and guidance.
A most intriguing experience, Tiger Lily. Many believe Armaggedon now approaches, and you seem to be visiting lots of caves lately, too. And that feather sounds like quite a gift.
ET, Do not question any of this. It has happened and the feather is a reality for you. Leaving behind a part of the place you visited in your dream state. Perhaps you were really there, I have a ring on my finger that I have worn now for at least six years, I have no idea where it came from or how I woke up with it on my finger one morning. Just accept and not question any of it..You have been blessed with a special gift. Enjoy!

Wow, mysterious. That is definiatly some dream. I always say that dreams have meanings but that ,wow. That is definetaly something, Ihope Im still here when that happens.
A feather an Angel left behind, to remind you that you are safe, your dream is an ancient prophecy, your fever allowed that dream. You have a most beautiful descriptive way of encapsulating metaphors into every word. Absolutely beautiful! Jasmin Horst

Don't think it was hallucination induced by fever; you were given the dream for a reason. What, I do not know. Prophecy? Perhaps. I'm not a dream translator, but what I felt, reading this, was that the earth in in destruction; the feather may represent the hope we have in Christ that we will be caught up in the air with Him, rise above. That's what I feel...in any event, you're lucky to remember your dreams. Only ones I remember are nightmares about tornadoes or dreams that make no sense, whatsoever. Powerful write, excellently penned.

WoW!!! Eileen, your dreams, or your subconsciousness is working overtime. You are much deeper than I am, so I can't get into commenting on this prose with the expectations that I know what the heck I'm talking about. You said it was chilling . . . The way you captured it in words, it didn't feel that way to me, of course I'm not privy to your actual dreams, but it was sort of reassuring . . .
Revenge is Fun series. Publisher Vinny Vitali deserves to be whacked, but for some reason he's like a cat with 9 lives. He's holding a mob widow's memoir hostage and the authors want to kill him, but he won't die.
Book Four in Belinda Lawrence mystery series. Confirming the Professor was murdered proves to be a challenge and, gradually, as they get to know those associated with the Manor House, Belinda and Hazel discover another murder and an intricate web of
