just a poem;-)

Poem Artwork

Waves are rolling
o'er the sea as my
soul floats back to
me~but my body
is  locked ~ my
mind is blocked
how can I set
my body  free
from this thief
of all eternity
caught on this
perpetual wave
from which I
can't get saved
I don't know
how I got here
or who took my
soul out there
while above me
looms a phantom
shape~ which keeps
 me under its black
cape ~and it won't let
me move~ I'm frozen
in his groove ~while
my soul cries for
mercy ~this phantom
has its way with me~
I feel a tearing apart
a separation of the heart
what's happening~I can't
speak~nor can I cry~
and I don't even know
why~ will this nightmare
never end~ is there no
message I can send~

SOS~!

Your poem sounds like a cry from another dimension..You must find lightness and sunshine to bring you out of this darkness. We have all been here many times as a matter of fact..It's always a battle between lightness and darkness..The lightness will prevail..
A very gripping poem ET.
Peace, love, and lightness of soul and body and mind...

I'm sure glad I noticed the "just a poem;-)"; you would have had me worried when reading your SOS! Thoughtful poem; do we sometimes feel this way, too? Another excellent poem, Eileen!

one can only hope the SOS will be
received and answered. There's a
great message here, Eileen!

Give in Eileen, let nature take its course, fighting it only encourages more of the same, Ditto: George, enjoy the high and low of the waves while reaching new destinations. Blessings! Jasmin Horst

In the end there is salvation and forgiveness. The Phantom shall be banished, the heart and soul triumphant when they repent, open up to receive heavenly love. This poem is a little scary. This poem is also very well written as per usual. As I say in one of my poems, " let your poetry sock it to me". Jon Michael Willey

To me, this speaks of unrequited love and the hold that this has over a person. Perhaps, I should have a glass of wine. lol

God bless you. Kathy
