Oh dark and dreary land let me go
I yearn for the sun but it avoids me
why is pain equated with dark when
it feels so  hot, like white lightning!
nothing makes any sense when the
body is under attack, hellish insanity
reigns along with all the pains~

I read the martyrs who give thanks
knowing that they draw closer to
Creator when they suffer,but how
about when you feel closer to the one
who resides over hell , who has brought
this nightmare upon me in the first
place and who never hesitates to seek
my company~

I hate Satan, and his stygian stink  of
salacious saliva, his foul fiendish fetish
for corrupting souls, his malevolant
mind of malediction with malefic intent
with which he maims mankind, and even
more I hate the vileness in me that allows
him to do it, and know if I sought the
power to overcome ,I'd be able to do so,
yet the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak~

Such options I resent now,because I'd
rather not have to make choices at a
time when I'm not thinking straight to
begin with, and to add to the misery I'm
supposed to remain calm and prayerful
when all I want to do is shout and spit out
all the worst epithets I ever heard, and
many times I do, then I have to go through
the added misery of repenting what I felt
so the cycle continues ad nauseum, when
I'm already stretched to the limits with a
body that no longer wants to function, but
just to scream with pain, rejecting anything
it has to do~

I've spoken my piece to whomever heard it
I know light and dark are two sides of the
same coin, how well it shows through suffering
while I know your grace has never been more
kind, nor your love more unconditional  as it
reaches me through your spirit of hope to assure
me that I still have your strength to rely on, and
that the suffering is but  a moment in the scheme
of times continuum which is forever, and when
I see through the  haze of my drugged eyes, the
final surprise, I know the sight of your light will
surround and comfort me when I'm in your realms of glory~

etw~

Many have times when they feel lost alone, and days are dark an dreary. Some how God light comes shining through and makes things better. Some times its hard to go on and face what is , but its something that has to be done! I've been through it and I know. God will help you as he's helped so many . I will pray extra hard for you..God bless and if you need me , I'll try to help....M

Dear Eileen, I know this feeling, but we have to resist any temptation of the uncomfort. Sometimes the body and the medications play tricks on us. Keep going you will be out of this sooner than you think. Great write. Love emile

Well u know I've been at it myself a fair bit lately Eileen, with all that's taken place, the childrens sufferings as well...I do Repent of my profanaties..I'm no JOB, but with The Lords strength, this rough ole diamond can be shaped, smoothed off and ready for a good spit and polish :)
Today The doctors rang us and told us our young Diabetic Son tested positive with Swine Flu...He'd already gone through the worst of it, but then the older Son, immune suppressed and on antirejection drugs for his kidney transplant...Well he ended up in the Hospital, but then after a few hours, lost his fever, and was sent home!!! Work that one out..Power of Prayer and Gods Mercy abounds...He is with you Eileen, of that I can be sure, and he knows you're pain!! He knows your sorely tempted and tried, and all he wants is for you to fall into his comforting arms, as he does with us all, rely on his strength, not our own.
Love to you and Much Blessings always.

And this to shall pass :-) Great capture of what we go through from year to year....centuries to centuries and beyond what we understand now.

Pain can be so debilitating, as we know, but positive thinking and prayer has such power of relief...I believe strongly in these two "meds". Such agony you have expressed...know you are always in my prayers, Eileen, for better days.

I find myself doing that more and more these days, and it helps a little, but not much.

i thought of the butterfly cocoon as it is heated to the point of liquify, everything about it melted only to be reformed into its glory...hugs for your suffering, and blessings that you know it will one day pass so you may fly :)

when the body breaks down causing intense amounts of suffering, the soul must endure the outcome of its will by reinforcing its hold on the spirit ... remember, the body doesn't house the soul, the soul houses the body and the spirit houses all we are and will become ... keep strong, Eileen ...

I hear you, baby girl; you're ever in my prayers and thoughts! Rant on!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(

I used to cuss like a sailor (God's name in vain, the whole schmoo), but God's reallly been working with me on that, especially lately, sicne HGHF is now going on. Second night went well; one more night to go! No problems tonight, but yesterday, "Satan" broke his toe. LOL He made it through tonight, thanks to the Lord's help. And I didn't screw up too bad; at least I didn't use the wrong arm, like I did yesterday! LOL)

My occasional numbness and spasms cannot compare to the assault you must feel with every nerve. Beyond it all, your uplifting poetry shows a spirit that will not yield to depression.

Here's a toast to you!

Eileen,
I have in my head a litany of responses to this wonderful and pained outpouring (everything from Shaw's definition of martyr to God and Satan cartoons) but I'll save you and myself their exposure and indulgence.
This is a marvellous poem.

((((Gentle HUGS))) love and prayer - oh, but I do understand, Eileen. Believe me, I do - and yes, I've let fly with epithets that would turn a sailor red! Just tired of the pain...know you're in my prayers, my friend. I know. If you need a shoulder to lean on, ears to listen, I'm here. =]

I don't think your Lord and Master would begrudge you a bit of insanity when it comes to fighting with Beelzebub, my friend, in fact, I firmly believe that he has given you that talent especially to use against the Arch Enemy of everything that is Good. so, I would not repent, add more insults. I understand the darkness and the hurt, not as you do, maybe, but I have wallowed in darkness until I felt that there would never be light enough for me to escape, but there was, and there will be for you. Spit 'n his damned ungodly eye and kick him where it hurts the worse.

Okay. got carried away. Hate to see you like this. I don't take anything back.
