"Farmers Lose Fight for Water to Endangered Fish"

An unbelievable situation
has developed in this nation
in California's San Jouquin Valley
37,ooo or more of our farmers
out of work standing in line
for hours for food where
they used to farm their crops

Their water supply was turned off
because a group of environmentalists
won a fight that ordered  their sources
of water be shut down due to fears that
irrigation would harm an endangered species
of fish, the 2 inch delta smelt

Farmers ,  losing their land, their crops, and their
livelihood, all because of a two-inch fish,is
hard to comprehend, and
Govenor Schwarzenegger's appeal to the
President ,for help has been ignored

Probably because a deal with China
To supply the food our farmers used
to do, makes them not needed anymore
this is a situation that must be stopped
