I do believe they plan on keeping me on my toes. My husband was out putting shingles on the roof of the Beach Shack and fell from the top to the ground. All I could see was blood coming from his mouth, to find he had a few bad cuts inside, at first he thought he had driven something through his back because he had a hard time to breath , but he knocked the wind out of his sails for sure. He did damaged to his neck but like most men won't go to the Doctor. I swear I am going to have a nervous breakdown. I reminded him of all our plans for the rest of our lives and that we were going to do them TOGETHER. I am sorry I haven't been around. My daughter-in-law is here from away and had surgery on her right eye, Monday, her left eye Saturday and she is back in the city today for the Doctor to remove the bandages to see if she has any eyesight. All prayers are needed and welcomed.
Another Day to Survive
October7, 2009
Written by: Rose Marie Rideout
It’s just one day after another
Or is it one day at a time,
Not sure of what comes next,
As I store hidden tears in my mind.
The family don’t seem to be healthy,
I wish there was something I could do,
But my time is taken up Love,
Watching carefully over you.
I need you for a lifetime,
Nothing less will do,
For there’s no one else love,
Who’ll love me as you do.
I can’t see you with a punchured lung,
A broken neck or injured heart,
I need you all together,
As healthy as you were from the start.
We have dreams to fulfill,
Promises to see them through,
Our Bucket list to finish,
Together both me and you.
Rose, love conquers all. I shall send healing energy to your man. He must be careful so that your bucket list is fulfilled. Much peace, love, and light,

I hear you Rose my husband rolled a 750 lb 4 wheeler over him and too would not go to the Dr..though pretty beat up ...but ok now... hope he is as well:) take care!!!
strong love chastises as well as cajoles, Rose. What a week! Most certainly my prayers are with you in this time of severe testing. Keep up the nagging and in the end I'm sure he'll think a trip to the doctor the lesser of the two evils! Our chaps need to know that WE suffer, too, when they choose to "go it alone". Thinking of you... But you'll look back on this doubtless... and smile (and shudder!) xx
I hope your husband listens to you and I pray for both your husband and your daughter-in-law and hope she regains her eyesight when the bandages are removed. Poetry is splendid.
Dear Rose, I hope that this poem is just to express a senario, and I hope nothing really happened. This poem, expresses what every couple
whishes. Let say, God bless every couple commited for life. Love Emile
Rose, so they say, bad things come in threes and now, between your husband's fall and your daughter-in-law's eye surgeries, you are now past the terrible threes so, hopefully life will turn to normal my Newfie friend and that the bad things are in the past. I'm not a praying person, but you know I want nothing for you but the best.
Your friend, Mark
Robin Ouzman Hislop's poetry is certainly in dialogue with some of the key architects of the 'poetics of indeterminacy' – both the Modernist strands represented by the likes of Beckett and Stein, and the postmodernist strands represented, initially,
Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.

These are hard hard days for you but with your great courage and faith you and your family will pull through. You are in my thoughts.
