WHAT MAKES THE HISTORY OF A POET IS NOT THE NUMBER OF PAGES WRITTEN, BUT THE NUMBER OF SOULS INSPIRED BY HER/HIS WORK. ~ Bendavi ben-YEHU
A wise reflective freudian thought presented in this profound composition delivered for the perusal of the heedful readers to digest its contents... "In The Wind (2)" art and knowledge flow through an esoteric meaning in explicit symbolism of poetic magnificence.
It is always difficult, and sometimes rather scary, starting over again. Trusting your heart to another is something that requires a host of disparate elements aligning properly. Fear can exacerbate a kind of creative neurosis and oftentimes keeps people from reaching out to others for input and healing. Your introspections are intriguing Axilea.

Not sure if this is a suicide poem or just an analogy of sucicide as compared to heartache and moving on with life. Either way it captures the mind and opens the heart of the reader to thought and that is the best thing a poet can do for their readers...well done dear Axilea,,,
You lost a little of magic in the redo, though the ending is stronger. I'm trying to analyzze it. --Think I figured it out. It's the 2nd and 4th lines of the 2nd stanza. "But one could see" is vague, and allows the reader to have a peep-see. "Cross her powdered eyelids" is very original -- kind of wispy, but the "flushed forhead", is too strong for a "second of haste." --I love the second ending. Reading these 2 poems was very interesting -- You're transposing this A minor poem into A major key --Charlie
A lovely poem marking the feelings about change. Change is inevitable, but sometimes it comes when least expected, and we all need something to hold onto. Blessings....
