the Mystery…

When People,

So obvious,

In noisy night traffic and alcohol,

Rule their descent

Stirred feelings

Mixed wheels

Of unfortunate emotions

Hustled in heat and rain

Dazed in nightlife haze

And brakes that break

The glass of a vivarium

Of simulated environmental conditions

Enough…

Until I shut my window

And sense my ecosystem

And pump up the volume

Of sober ascent

Vital unification

Blood and spirit

Printed in heaven

And cooling the earth

With magnetic magic

Sound

And I don’t just listen:

I open up

From a terrarium

Back to my freedom
