An addiction is an addiction, no matter what the drug of choice.
Chocolate,
Wonderful chocolate,
How I adore you!
But I'm trying so hard
To live without you
Though not with much success.
Don't you understand
The danger I am in?
My weight is climbing,
My cholestrol is high,
My family history
Promises retribution
If I don't soon control
My insatiable eating
Of all the wrong things.
And you ARE the wrong thing!
Why can't you leave me alone?
Leave me in peace
So I may live my life
To its fullest
And longest.
