Passing muster with the weight loss surgery psychologist is tough...

Two weeks of

No shopping

And a liquid diet:

These are the things

They say I must do

To begin to effect

The self change

Necessary

To a successful future.

I must prove to myself,

And to Them,

That I can control

My self-destructive

Impulses

And direct my energies

Onto other paths,

Thereby placing my priorities

In proper order

With my health

And long term happiness

At the top

Of the list.

Can I do this?

I have to

If I want to succeed

At life.
