Blessed rain
Falls gently upon
The thirsty earth,
Dripping from leaves
And running
Along blades of grass
To soak into
The dark, warm soil.
I watch from the doorway,
My senses filled
With the scent and sound
Of heaven's water
As it nourishes my world,
Before stepping out
And lifting my face and hands
To receive nature's baptism
For myself.
Questions, unquestioned discoveries, and answers in parable and rhyme…. This collection records a journey starting with a 1960s retrospective and the first man on the moon, moving to a new millennium welcomed in with a terrorist spin, family crises,
