Are long and lonely;
I miss the sound
Of your voice in my ear
And worry
I shall never hear it again;
I miss the almost feeling
Of being held in your arms,
Warm against your body
And tight against your chest;
I miss this fantasy we've woven
And fear the day won't come
When our fingers will lace
And our lips will meet
In long awaited anticipation
Of knowing one another
