It's my last day
On the job
And the sadness I feel
Is crushing.
I loved it here
Where the drama
Of having a part
In saving animal's lives
Was daily and real
And gratifying.
I can't imagine
Any other postion
Will ever touch my heart
The way this job did,
But life will go on
With new challenges
And new horizons
To conquer,
And I am certain,
With time,
I will be ever better
For them.

My heart goes out to you.Sometimes no matter how hard we try to ask the questions,we can never find the answers to them.Something good is out there and it will come sooner than you think.Take care of yourself,have a smile on your face and enjoy your life.Even though you don't have a job,you have your life to be thankful for
It will be of not much consolation, but my heart is going to you. That pink slip should be black, because it is the color of that day, when we receive it.
