It takes so little, really,
To make me happy:
My pets running to greet me
When I walk in the door,
My favorite butterfly
Fluttering by,
Or the sight of wild roses
Growing along a country fence row.
Today I am feeling particularly blessed
As I contemplate the ways
That God has showered me
With His love.
His generosity truly
Has no bounds.
He loves me,
And that is all
I really need to know.
