Peach tree reaches high and wide
fits in with the household tide,
echos gather at the leaf
one by one, to speak to me
in memories I don't forget
while my siblings warn regret
using words like old wasp stings
kept for moments just like these.
Peach seeds fall at night, their tide
fills in household corner pride,
echo re-birth tales from these,
one by one, to catch the leaves,
while old pictures i inspect,
remember, while they forget,
plucking trusty cuss-word sting
cutting through the echo ring.
Climbing up, I climb it high
in my dreams, the household pride
stays despite the falling leaves
I imagine say to me;
'memories time will forget,
lest the ribbing shows regret,
useless word, the spanish sting
masks forgiveness you must see'
Peach tree reaches high and wide
fills in memories with her pride
echos gather slow, on leaves
one by one, to sing to me
notes of forgiveness to heed,
one by one, i'm listening...
