Precious face with shining eyes
Impish smile, beyond disguise
Lines of pain that crease his brow
That soften when he smiles....somehow

I see him in my heart of hearts
Bantered, upturned apple carts
Testing waters day to day
Affording ire, to have his way

But there inside..the little boy
Playful in his impish joy
Beats the heart of Celtic pride
The tests of strength that there abide

To know his spirit, grateful, I
Though, stubborn sod, I can't deny
Intelligent, his wit and wiles
Swells my heart, when Tommy smiles

*after that country barn dance awhile back....i figured i owed one to my Friend and a very good man.
thanks sweetie, for being you.....hugs and love..k

Hi Krissy.
Tommy likes you to laugh with glee,
Suppose its just the wee boy in he,
His humours not to all folk's taste,
Some think his wit a bit misplaced,
There are some quite simple folk,
Who never ever quite see the joke,
But if they could set their mind free,
They'd find the joke is usually on me.
