He's been to hell and back Seen what no others could Done what he's had to do 'Cause no one else would Suffered lifes hardships Lost more, at home Bannished himself, to save it Intent on being alone But fate sometimes sees A hero's true worth And lays down the path before him Where a new life takes birth As his lady loves him Distance and time disappear And the value of one lonely hero In her heart, becomes clear The dreams of tomorrow Let slumber, yesterdays demise For the Hero, is the shining knight Portrayed in the soft green of her eyes
