Darlin Belle, this has to be one of my favourite of yours. It flows like cherry wine and is perfect in form, rhythm, metre - to say nothing of the clarity and precision of thought in the content. Beyond the imaginary tree where we hide from the preying eyes, the legend will have just two owners, that, like a ikebana bouquet that one arranged for the other the pleasure of many scents.
Tenderness in not just a word.
