Windchimes

Windchimes

Hear them jingle on the summer front porch,
all shapes and sizes my friends in the night.
The breeze blows them softly and sometimes lively,
don’t know which is better the sound or the sight.

This one right here is covered with crystals,
the one over there by a beautiful loon.
Polished chrome pipes send music so throaty,
the ones made of bamboo sing another tune.

The gentle wind blowing a soft calming tinkle,
a gale wind will echo an awesome roar.
There’s never too many for my ears to listen,
I’ll gather them and save them forever more.

Someone once said that windchimes at night are only romantic if they aren't hanging at your neighbour's house in a high wind ;)

Personally, I *adore* yours! :)
