Wherein A Thought
Mystic be thee still of night
Beneath the beacon of this light
Throb thy heart beats within
And here’s the problem waiting therein
Solitude my thoughts befall me
If I listen closely to the winds they call me
One day, someday I hope to find
The quiet place that dwells inside
Where love is love
And light is light
Where we are saved and never fight
One beacon lights the way, I part
For you are forever in my heart
Tainted I maybe in Rome
Tired, broken, where have I roamed
But in my heart I’ve found my home
Wherein a thought, I am not alone
A prisoner caught within my home
Edwin
Beautiful write.
