Tip Toe
Tip toe through the tulips yeah
And lay back with that gentle stare
Hallowed in this land of wonder
Caught within the cloud and thunder
To smell the scent of summer rain
That sweeps across the open plain
For in this life among the dwindle
Humble how it is now that I am nibble
Sweeping gently upon solemn soil
And never given chance to spoil
To feel the rain upon my skin
And see the love that waits within
Through muddy waters there is rot
But I am humbled with what I’ve got
One heart that lingers in with wind
A gentle light a waits therein
To smell the scent of summer flowers
Draw back the moon in evening showers
Glisten twilight into the night
A question born before my sight
