Wisdom Of The Seasons Speak
Misty mound on mountain haze
The moon at dusk, in purple haze
Evening twilight among the stars
Frozen echoes, near and far
Humble how the lights appear
Silent whispers echo tears
Twilight glisten in my face
Mirrored reflections, I can’t replace
Urban hymn, a sea of lights
Setting out, before the night
Sombre mourn the moon in flight
Cascade among the sea of light
Scented flowers beside the porch
Where now I rest and thou have taught
Wisdom of the seasons speak
How I am humbled, by the meek
Urban hymn, a sea of lights
I like this stanza, the seasons are a plunder and an urban hymn is refreshing for sure.
Enjoyed, ~D.
