Ever feel invisible?

Hello, are you there? Can you hear me?
Am I an Illusion that you cannot see?
A fleeting moment in history?

Jumping through the cracks of time?
A fragmented image in your mind?
Fearing forgotten or left behind?

Staring through me as a pallet of Glass.
Blown away like a blade of grass.
Walking through me as you pass.

Can you see me? My body has no density.
I’m a fleeting moment in history.
A Grand Illusion you’ll never see.

All but a fragment in your mind.
Jumping through the cracks of time.
Today I’m Forgotten. Tomorrow left behind.

This is a most compelling write, Crissy. I can relate to many of the sentiments that you express withing your verses. Thank you for sharing this offering. Love and peace to you,

I love how straightforward your poetry is. There is great strength in the narration of this poem which intriguingly contrasts the feelings of invisibility.

yes, younger i was a vase behind a couch
teen years i was the flower in the vase
adult i dissappeared
in the times that i was missed i can away with poetry and stories
and a wonderful imagination
i agree with Kooten in a way
it is all in what we get from it
and how we view it
enjoyed this share

We are. (period) But~ what we do with the short time we are, is what matters for our children. Many questions being asked here, and many answers lie within each one...Very mind provoking write!
I like your style!
Nice to meet you! :)
Love and Peace~

I've felt this way many times in my life...blank space in a room, "nothing more!" I liked this!

Crissy,

You said a mouthful and it's even worse when they will not hear.
The feeling of being useless is an all time low. Great write.

Perfect way to wake him up, but if continues to sleep, just kick him out of your life. You deserve better. Victor

This one is very good...you write well this view of one caught within the moment of time, from the forgotten of taday into the left of tommorrow, an expression makes a statement within itself...

nice poetry.....enjoyed....Art Sun...
