Lightning strikes and it opens a chasm Of words that pour in a flood My tears rain down in a cataclysm Rinsing the soul free of mud
Thunder peals and the ! shock ! reverberates Loosing forth a torrent of words The poetry falls at a steady rate The depth of it is absurd
Hailstones of anger fall from stormy skies Shatter on hitting the ground Bitterness and hatred in pieces lie By Love they are sent hell-bound
Tornadoes of thought drop down from my pen And roar onto a blank page Permanently preserved as it happens The soulstorm in me assuaged
