Great poem, Karla. Words come and go. I sometimes see them around when I don't need them. When I need them, they are just gone -- maybe they stay with somebody else. And sometimes, as you told, they are just beyond the arm's reach, no way to reach them without a bridge. My imagination is the best bridge I have to reach words.
