Bad day, indeed. No, I see a writer with much to say. I've watched you grow and, someday, they will hear you, read you, and applaud you. Just keep writing and you will see.
I don't know why you feel so badly of yourself. You are a wonderful person, and you are just going through some hard times now. It is natural to feel depressed and/or scared when things aren't going as well as we would want them to. But you ARE loved, and you DO have many friends! You also have a gift for writing, and when I review, I only review because I happen to like the story/poem/article; I am NOT doing it to get reviews myself! I happen to think you are one hell of a talented writer, and your words WILL be read! Don't ever give up hope, I believe in you, and so do many others; and most of all, God does too! He loves you too much to ever think of abandoning you. He hears and knows what's in your heart, and He WILL help you if you give him a chance. Now, it may not be when you would like, but he WILL take care of you! I KNOW that for a fact! Just as He is caring for me; He will do the same for you. "With God, ALL things are possible!" Please don't give up; I will never give up on you! I love you too much!

Heartfelt write that cries out for attention; very emotive poem that shows your inner self! Well done; brava! Keep on writing!! Don't ever stop; the world would be a much darker place without your brilliant mind!

Karla, I can honestly say that since I have joined the Den, you have been one of the most inspirational Poets here, my friend! I have grown to admire you and your work! I have seen you go through a lot of highs and lows, yet you have always been a classy woman! Your poetry is second to none, and the way you reach out to help those whenever they are down, is a testament to your compassionate soul! By the way Poet, this is a GREAT composition, and it is always a pleasure reading your work! Thank you for sharing it. Take care and be well.

Good GRIEF! I have never written one review on AD that I didn't mean wholeheartedly. Sure, friends are great, but we are collegues here...fellow artists-fellow writers. I don't have to pay a membership fee on a writer's website to cultivate friends. When I tell you something is TERRIFIC, GREAT, touching, moving, uplifting, thought provoking etc. etc. etc. you can believe that I truly found it to be so. I'm not one to shower anyone with platitudes. You are a gifted, lovely spirited writer Karla. I value your work nearly as much as I value your friendship. Please believe that. Your notes of encouragement during our hurricanes were so beautiful and brought smiles to my face on days when we were faced with Mother Nature's unknown. You write from your heart. Just being kind is not my thing. I am in this port beause a wonderful loving author choses to share with us her words and thoughts. Here you will not be ignored :-) BTW change can be a good thing!
Karla, I for one enjoy your works. Still pretty new on the scene, so it will take me awhile to understand everything you've written. But your loneliness and depression are evident. Very emotionally written. Just recently, someone shared with me how our writing is both a blessing and a curse. At times, the curse can be overpowering, where we forget the joy of writing. Keep writing your answer will come!
This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses
the dominant thoughts occupying my mind during the early morning hours of a given
day.
In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
