I think we all question our ability to write and wonder how our writings will be received. I just write, I don't much worry about what others think, anymore. Perhaps one day, my words will make sense to someone and help them through a tough situation. Good stuff, Karla.

You not only have the right to write, you have an obligation to write...if not to anyone else but to yourself. Is it just a dream? No more than it is anybody else's! Even those that have been published have a reoccuring dream for another..Yes it's a dream, and one that you need to be reaching for!
Now pick up that pen and get to it!

I'm with Eileen and Nordette here, Karla... but I know from experience that our own self-esteem can get seriously in the way of seeing ourselves the way that others see us... so, at those times, we have to trust ourselves to the objective view and not let our own self-damning get in the way... I talk to myself as well as you, here... and the people say: "Keep writing cos we wanna keep reading!!" You better believe it, Honey!! LOL Kate xx

Your writing is too good to hide; and you have touched many people through your thought provoking poetry! No, No, Karla, don't turn to drink! I personally think you're channeling the negative energy of someone else's writing fears because we all know you can write. Maybe you should check and see if one of your neighbors is a frustrated hack of a writer. ;-)
