On to work. :-) Have a great day!

Poem Artwork

I fly hanging by the seat of my pants.
I write poetry the exact same way.
My pen and I, we can do anything.
Something magical happens when we play.

I spill ink but it is not a mistake.
My pen and I are having so much fun.
Words play hide and seek, but we find them all.
A poem begins with one word--just one.

My pen does not care if I have talent.
All it matters that its words have been said.
And what would make it more enjoyable
Is every single one of them is read.

Together, we make poetry's portrait.
It is not just up to you or to me.
We complete a most exciting picture.
It takes both of us to make poetry.

I think it just flows, like the ink in the well.

I love the opening lines, that to me is what true writing is all about.

Love Ch'erie

This is excellent, I love the line "I spill ink but it's not a mistake." Kind of caught my eye for a reason, as did this entire poem, you described the feeling well...
God Bless

SO TRUE!!! Can't have one without the other... and it takes two to tango in the living of it, too; reader and writer combined. Glorious celebration of the life-force that is POETRY!! TY Kate xx
