although i barely remember you, i recognize you by the pattern of pain gathered 'round your eyes. it's the same as mine. somewhere, your father and my mother met, and poems were born, although we didn't know it at the time. separated at birth, we went on our different paths, you with pa, i with ma, and i didn't think we'd ever meet again. and now look at us: here we are, together once more, as it should be with twins; come, sister of the word, rest, eat, sit down here and tell me what's been goin' on with you.
Just saw this one, wow! Oh my goodness, you keep doing it over and over again, the most awesome prose. This one is so inspiring and provocative, I can feel emotions, love, openness and wholeness. Thanks for this gift. My best, Gloria

My father was one of a pair of identical twins who were in an orphange. Their mother gave them up as they would always have one another and she made that emotional decisions to keep them together. I know how important it is having a twin. I'm happy your pe placed these twins together again.
