No man's land, this place I find myself. Hearing strange disembodied voices discuss my prognosis and where I am on the Glasgow Coma Scale: it's not looking good, poor dear ain't long for this world. Such a pity. No response. Posturing -- too young, far, far too young. Sad. Doctors talk about pulling tubes as if I've already d i e d. Nurse gossip competes with monitored beeps, hiss from respiratored lungs: who's screwing who, who bought a new car, who's going on vacation (Europe's nice, they say). Don't give a flip: let's get back to the bidness of living: give me hope, throw me a rope and pull me up out of here, this weird Twilight Zone.
Wow Karla this is amazing thank you for sharing, keep it up and be blessed
God Bless

I have often heard that people who are in a sort of coma or truama, can hear and understand everything. Doctors and nurses should be careful what they talk about in such cases. Victor
