Hi sis, and yes, we do need that time away from the maddening crowd. I agree with Cynth'ya in that never ever tell the muse to shut up, or she will get the idea not to help. Seriously tho, you do need "a break, desperately needed." Take some time, and go for a walk, enjoy the beauty that is the nature all around you. Go to a place where there are wild flowers, and wild strawberries. Watch teh deer as they romp carefree, or the bunny rabbit that his hopping to somewhere. Smell the fragrance the flowers give off, and just relax. This will free your mind from all that bothers you. Yes dear sister, take that badly needed break, because if you don't it could lead to burn out, and you are such a very good writer. Go Somewhere where there is no hustle and bustle. When I was a teenager, I had a stream to go and sit by, and the rhythm of the water flowing, and lapping against its banks, was very refreshing. I often wrote a lot in my diary sitting by that "river that flows." Thank you for sharing, Karla, because you have a family here that you can turn to when you need a break.

I can relate to this cry.... bills, no food, kids to feed, and no one to help. A bit overwhelming at times, and some times it seems too much to bear. (HUGS) we need to look up despite, myself included, love Holly

Thank God for that pen in hand. It is a savior in disguise and silences the worries--even if for a moment--while attention is diverted away to some thought we want to capture and share. Writing is a wonderful relaxer.

Karla, you just gotta' believe that something good will happen. I know it isn't easy, but God has always helped us in the past; why couldn't He do it again?? Just have faith; know you are in my prayers! I love you!
