Feeling it today ...

Poem Artwork

Pain:  multi-hued shades color
my world.  A light grey mist
if not too bad; a siren of
red if stronger; a violent
windswirl of black ripping

the skeleton from the house
of skin, carelessly throwing
it away, to be discovered
later when the storm has
passed:  today, a tornado day.

Can't be touch by another for the pain, can't go out for much over an hour for the tiredness, erratic moods then guilt, and feelings of self hate.... Yup I dated a cheating lass with Fibro, she's lost the lot through cheating and not the invisible, yet very real illness..

Karla there is hope, I know of peeps whom have been cured of FBA, using the.... "The Lightning Process" google it and see, they are free again, living full lives....

Karla the comparison between the pain and storms is interesting indeed. I do hope your pain subsides and it is uplifting to know that you continue to write (push through). Sometimes I wonder about pain...it seems to help keep us focused and grounded...as bad as it may be.

Surely keeps us prayerful, do you agree?
As you continue and as we all continue bearing a bit of the cross~bid all restorations were they need it most.
Take care and all the best to you always,
~Gwendolyn

Aww.. Babe, I'm sorry for your intense pain. With the tail-end of lupus I still get the sting in the tail of these kinds of manifestations, but mercifully they are seldom life-inhibiting. Still, you manage to write and to pen your frayed nerve-endings in a rainbow palette of colour - albeit moody ones. I pray that tomorrow if not sooner may be a day of mellow breezes for you. A warm bath sounds like the place for you... My love and thoughts are with you, Karla. Unless you've been there, you have no idea... Love Kate xx

I hope the pain lessens as the day wears on and your smile is returned with the warmth of a late summer day.

I feel for you, Karla. My own version of this is called trigeminal neuralgia. It seems, in my case, to be precipitated by heavy low pressure in the atmosphere. When the weather is stormy, my right sinus blocks up and presses on a nerve. Then any brush of the hand across my face, touching my lips to food, or chewing crunchy or hot food--cold wind, the furnace fan coming on and changing the air pressure, any number of things can trigger a spasm of intense pain shooting through my eye and into my scalp. It's something like one might experience if a cattle prod were discharged against the forehead for ten seconds or so. I've tried most of the neurologic pain pills with no results other than something that resembles the effects of having a lobotomy. The pain is no worse without them so I don't pop these p(br)ain-killers any more. But I do look forward to sunny weather, LOL.
Love and {{{{{{hugs}}}}}}},

There's a storm of pain comin' innnnnnnnn...sorry about that...

ALERT! ALERT! ALERT! sorry...don't mean to laugh at your pain. Nobody knows what one suffers until they walk in their shoes. A very vivid, aptly described poem of suffering; hope you feel better soon; you are ever in my prayers! Very well done; brava!

(((Gentle Hugs))) and much love, your twin, Karen Lynn. :(

Yep, many feel the weather changes in their joints.

Maybe you could get a side job as weather forecaster. LOL

Feel better,
Kathy
