They might blow back in again - as the Scouts say - Be Prepared!

I believe we are all guilty of this, but it only leaves room for other great ideas to emerge, but we have to remember to write those down, thanks for the write.
Well said Karen. If I'd written down all those I forgot, I could have covered the moon with the words; like buffalo roaming the praries, a jumbled mixture of wandering herds. Maybe someday they'll come back to us. We can always hope. God bless. Paul.
Sometimes words are like eels, very difficult to keep, and more you try to grab farther they go from your brain, until they are just a vague memory of something you wanted to say.
Perhaps not a good poem or phrases that you will have regretted afterwards, best they are goners.

next time write down a few choice words or the beginning line and when you're ready to write the poem refer back to it andhopefully it will flow ... carry around a small notebook and of course, a pen ;)
Perhaps the spontaneous is what was meant to be, it's good that you followed your instincts to write it! What you lost will recycle itself in your brain and come back eventually a bit different but same intent. Write on!
Know the feeling well dear Karla - but often what blows away is replaced by something that is meant to touch someone right where they need to be touched, at exactly the right time. An individuals writing and creating is something much more vast than just self satisfaction. You are always a blessing!

Forgiven . . . I think most of us are the same way. If we don't write it down we forget it. You did well with what you had to work with . . .
Whenever the muse strikes, you write. Don't worry how it may sound; as long as you have the inspiration, don't hesitate to get it down. I know how you feel; sometimes we have those days where our muse shuts down. That's okay. It will be ready for another day. Very well written poem, and no, this is not a pitiful excuse of a write: it shares with us the feelings you are currently experiencing, and that is good therapy. Keep on writing; don't worry what everyone else may think or who has the most reviews!

Robin Ouzman Hislop's poetry is certainly in dialogue with some of the key architects of the 'poetics of indeterminacy' – both the Modernist strands represented by the likes of Beckett and Stein, and the postmodernist strands represented, initially,
