Poem Artwork

Fall knocked at the door
with cooler temps, low
humidities, a
welcome visitor.
Opened the windows
to let her in and
invited her to
share in my morning -
me in my PJs,
Autumn with her paints,
ready to create
beautiful colors.
She apologized
for the delay; seems
Summer was stubborn,
didn't want to leave.
Now that she's here, we've
all the time in the
world ... but first, it's time
for a cup of tea.

Great write Karla
Love the changing colors of fall
Miss my early morning mountains, walking my grandson's retriever
Made great exercise for me.

And you can finally turn off the AC! That front if right at our doorsteps here in FL, but we didn't get the storms you got yesterday, but it will at least clear the air. You're a regular Wx Journal: so how was it forecasting BigTime?

Ahh it is good to be back and with your poem being one of the first for me to review I am soo glad to be back. We have been enjoying spring for the last few weeks up here and Rose and I so enjoyed driving the country roads under the umbrella of colours as in the picture you added to this wonderful welcome to the brightest of the seasons.
