Everything calm, sun out, birds singing, a beautiful day. And then, out of nowhere, comes the storm churning my world to black - got to find shelter, away from the wind, the rain, the lightnings and thunderings making me cry out in fear, in pain: don't know how much more of this to take. No! I refuse to live like this, afraid of every l i t t l e cloud. This is only temporary. Storms come and storms go - the sun always comes out after the rain. Have to remember that. Have the strength to survive because God is right there, with me: in the middle of chaos surrounding me, He's already felt what I feel .........

Karla, you've captured a beautiful picture here of one who refuses to allow fear to destroy their life because you know that you have someone greater standing beside you every day. The picture goes great with this writing. Nice images, good flow, and an excellent poem.
