The sky seems to awaken
me just a little earlier in the
mornings - or is the internal
clock broken once again?
Don't sleep as good as I
once did.  To have one night
without worries or bills - to
sleep the sleep of my youth -
or is this just a nightmare with
eyes wide open in a scream?

They say we sleep less as we get older. Worry and stress have a lot to do with it ,,I think......M

Well said, been there, done that, and had the blood shot eyes to prove it...but that maybe is the best time to write in solitude of the dawn...hmmnnn good poem title for you there..."In Solitude Of The Dawn"...all yours.

I can appreciate what you're going through Karla. Worrying over our problems will tend to do that and it seems the older I get the less sleep I need and the more frequently I wake during the night. Such is life. Naps during the day help though. Well said Karla. God bless you my friend.
