bills eatin' me alive
it don't matter...more
prob'ly will arrive

i'm workin' for free
that's what it seems like
workin' all the time
but paychecks don't spike

not on a budget
now how can i save
when there's no money
you see why i rave

more bills comin' in
they're so hard to pay
when paychecks are thin
each damned old pay day.

i must figure out
which bill to pay first
damn...my finances
must surely be curs'd

my rent's three hundred
and my check is short
by four damn dollars
how is *that* for sport

my twin loaned me some
have to pay her back
gonna be fun when
finances i lack

my rent's paid, but then
there's the i.r.s.
dunned one hundred plus
adding to my stress

a hospital bill
almost a year late
i will have to pass
my income's not great

groceries? i'll pass
perhaps next paycheck
maybe i'll lose weight
hate diets, but oh, heck

not gettin' a raise
should be called a crime
bills bills are takin'
up all my pay and time!!!

a rant. i hate paydays, 'cause i don't get paid and everyone else does. :( well, i actually *get* a paycheck, but it ain't mine to keep. sometimes someone has to wait to get their money, and they don't like it one bit.
