Nature took the dingy grey
clouds between her hands, rubbing

sky until they were white once

pinning them to bolts of light
to air out in the wind. Now
everything has that fresh,
clean scent --- do love a good storm.
Karla!! I want this one-- seriously! We could change the first word to "She", and voila! it's an ogress poem... we could put it in the book... --Charlie
I agree with Kate on this one, this is your best write of all time Karla and the image you created is fresh and new and shines a whole new light on the after affects of weather. This could also be applied to the recent storm that has happened in the Den and hopefully when Matt and his crew get all the bugs out our second home will also smell fresh and clean.
