... i want. ....

Poem Artwork

... the colors of the season, too brief,
lingering on the tongue in memory of
what summer was all about --- now
that winter's bitter storms are howling
outside the door, embrace me in your
heat, kiss me to remember --- i want.
to be naked.  to be left totally spent on
the floor with a sigh, undone by poetry.

your photo is breathtaking in its starkness -- so bold, so beautiful -- your metaphor so flowing gently like a brook -- a masterful write my dear Karla -- keep the pen close by your side -- JMW

I love this Karla, especially this part:

i want.
to be naked. to be left totally spent on
the floor with a sigh, undone by poetry.

What passion in these words, nicely done!
Peace, love, and light,

Hey Karla. Well done my friend. But aren't you rushing winter in just a bit? After all, it's only August 26. Three and a half more weeks of summer left to say nothing of Autumn.
