Had some AMAZING storms late yesterday afternoon into the night. The lightning was fracturing the skies - only captured a little of it, but oh, it was beautiful! =]

Image and video (c) 2009, Karla Dorman

Poem Artwork

The Creator knew what
He was doing when He
painted the storm on sky:
the entire surface was
His canvas, and I, the
one who watched Him work:
He pulled lightning from
the top of the anvil and
s.crawled His Name in silver:
He gave the print to me
to hang in my eyes, this
original art from the Master.

Karla, you have once again presented us with a novel approach as to how we may think about things in nature -- this is very imaginative -- peace and love my dear friend -- Jon Michael

Amazing, yes, but very ordinary yesterday's rainy day for me. I love storms with thunder and lightning, but yesterday I drove a couple of hundred miles to and from under five different OMG its raining like no tomorrow hard showers, without a peep from the skies and not flash bulbs going on anywhere. But I did know how Noah felt.

It's scenes like the one you have pictured that make me feel small. That feeling is reality and sometimes we forget that. Great message. Hugs,

Fantastic poem, piccy, and vid; wow, StormSpinner, you weave your weather magic with your meteorological pen! Are you sure you're not related to Dick Goddard or Dave Finfrock, or maybe even Al Roker or Jim Cantore?? LOL Very well done; brava!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin and (reluctant) chase partner, Karen Lynn. :D
