Reeling drunkenly
in the wind, Autumn
leaves. The last hangers-
on after a night
of watching buddies
fall off the wagon,
and out of their lives.
Which will let go first?
Which one will be left?
Only time will tell.

AS we walked I wanted you to take this picture and I could think of two remaining people hanging on for dear life. Love the way you expressed it.
I am Eileen's echo - yes, GREAT analogy! Our oak leaves over here are still firmly attached to their barstools, saying "same again" or "one for the road"... Who knows when closing time will be but with snow closing in now, perhaps it will be soon. Delightful, Karla xx
