my body betrays me yet again
warning--
warning--
on the scale, pain's quickly builds to ten
relapse--
collapse--
sciatic nerve lets me know it's there
intense--
immense--
although i am hurting ev'rywhere
it sears--
severe--
the pain is interrupting my sleep
tired--
wired--
a numbness grows up my leg it creeps
seizing--
squeezing--
muscles and tendons electrified
breaking--
aching--
it won't go away where can i hide
shaking--
quaking--
the pain the pain make it go away
sighing--
crying--
will i find any relief today
shouting--
pouting--
i just can't handle it any more
screaming--
screaming--
pain won't quit won't stop won't be ignored
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

i injured my back in 1983; had a pinched
sciatic nerve. it is the worst pain i have
ever had in my life...interrupts all facets
of your life. you can't stand; you can't
lay down; you can't sit down. it hurts all
of the time. twenty four seven. some
times are worse than others. sudden
movements can really activate it.

surgery brought much needed relief. un-
fortunately, a year later, i reinjured my
back...the doctors say nothing can be
done about it, and that i will just have to
learn to live with the pain.

i have good days and bad days. on my
good days, i hurt, but can function. on
bad days...i REALLY hurt and have to
force myself to function. what choice do
i have?

today's a bad pain day.

I am so sorry that you need to suffer such a pain. A very new way of penning about pain.
Pray and Meditate, you will feel relief from any pain.
