against
azure skies,
scissor-tail fly
catchers trace joyful

patterns.
springtime warmth
stimulates them,
loosens the icy

grip that
winter's chill
had on them. they're
glad to be alive

on such
a lovely
april morning.
i'm glad i'm alive

to watch
them rising
higher, higher,
then swooping down in

delight,
glorying
at winter's end--
and spring's beginning.

I like spring
and autumn
and I love the winter,
but me and summer don't mix well. Nevertheless, your poem I enjoyed,
and I especially like,'against azure skies.'
