I write, because I breathe
I breathe, because I live;
I live, because of God
Because of God, I write.

I have reached a milestone in my
wrting career--my 500th poem.

Please allow me present to you, "Writing Words."

Softly whispering,
Like a breeze brushing the leaves,
Words gently caress

My mind, asking to
Be captured in black and white:
To be preserved, in

Pages of a book,
Read again and again, my
Words, O, my words! To

See my words published
Between covers of a book
Would be an honor,

For my words are a
Gift, given when needed most,
Words have saved my life;

And I share this Gift,
Not to be rich or famous,
Because I've been blessed

By a healing balm,
Given one September day,
My Gift? Writing words.
