I commend you Karla! I have learned that very lesson myself! I was addicted to painkillers in 1999. Finally off of them by 2001. No more trips to the Emergency room anymore. YEAH!

My god, Karla, your first line grabs the reader, and throws them into hell!! I've had days and months of pain, but never years... The boiling in oil really got to me...the whole conveys the hole of pain, excellent in form, stark in message. One of your best.

It is sad Karla for you to suffer this way. And it is sad for me because I can't take the pain away. Although I would give anything to do so! No one from the outside can look in and see this pain, but we too also bear pain and hurting and we do know what that is and offer the comfort of our words to you, and our hearts love you dear.
