Karla, I am in shivering tears here... I would love to see the picture that prompted this poem in you.. It is truly the warrior Spirit, but it's not calling you, Karla. Ah Karla, it seems as though you have found your words quite nicely. As for this poem, it strikes a chord for some reason within...with past depressions I have always thought of the term, " a good day to die!" As it is here, regarding the indian brave killed on the battlefield, when we die in battle for that which we believe in, any day is a good day to die...Peace & Thanks for an expecially eye opening piece, ED

Chilling write Karla! Eerie! Content is good though but it is a touchy subject some might say. Although those who have illnesses, or disabilites, are not afraid to talk of death. I think I shall write a poem. You have inspired me, THANKS!

I just finished reading a book about the Indian removal. IE: The trail of tears among other things. It just boggles ones minds what the native Americans endured. And it lays so heavy on my heart.
