i clothe myself in the mysteries of the night.
i glance into the heavens
and behold the miracle
of billions of stars, a vast universe.

how can someone say there is no God?

i take a leisurely stroll on a spring morning.
flowers scent the air with
delicate perfumes that tempt
me to stop and smell each one of them.

how can someone say there is no God?

i see power in the thundering of the storm.
vivid flashes of lightning
bracket the sound of His Voice
and i tremble in awe at what He says to me.

how can someone say there is no God?

i look at the wonder of a single snowflake.
one has landed on my hand
and i am entranced by the
notion that each one is unique--just like mankind.

how can someone say there is no God?

i take in the beauty of a cool autumn day.
colors explode in the trees
and a blizzard of leaves fills
the air, leaving me laughing in pure delight.

how can someone say there is no God?

i see a postcard with the northern lights on it.
such beauty!  such wonder i
see!  i would love to observe
the dancing colors written in the nighttime sky.

how can someone say there is no God?

the freshly mown grass tickles my bare feet and toes.
it itches but feels so good
that i lay down and roll in
it...i am free to recapture joys of my youth.

how can someone say there is no God?

i am soothed by a puppy's whine, a kitten's purr.
when i hear it, i smile
and thank God for small blessings
that he sends in furry packaging just for me.

how can someone say there is no God?
