Misery this night...Our Lovers entwine...Revealing the truth...Sparing us the rod...
Come stroll with me If only Friends we are We've seen enough misery this night Of Our Lovers entwine Together we'll let go of a fait Thankful Our hearts found out Before becoming fools In dreadful wedlock For God has blessed us both Revealing the truth Sparing us the rod Of becoming their fools Copyright 2007

Ah Deb you have created another smashing origianal here with "Sparing Us The Rod". What seems to be love in the heat of the moment is not always what we really want love to be. Great write for sure.
