In mighty tribute to the Guardian Angels of man
In fellowship to God and the will of His divine plan

All these pretty suits are beginning to unravel fast
These threads were stretched weak, the fabric cheap
They fit like suits sewn by a tailors with no pride
No one can wear these skinned garments for too long

All this beauty is beginning to stir and rise
Stir in warm sunshine amidst misery and pain
Held together by threads woven by the hand of God
Beauty pierces this claustrophobic twist with His love

All these wonders still abound, we still rise
As blessed children caught in this varied attitude
In fellowship with hope, standing near beauty's breath
Like dust whispering to proud winds, we still stir and rise

All this time, you can treat us like dirt
Kick us around and smear our good names
Keep us under, under your boots, but as top soil - we rise
Rise, then bath, - in bright sunshine, and God s plan continues ...

All our brothas and sistas, help push us down
Down deep, as a favor to unwise demons of deception,
But alas, we still rise, that's where children of God's must go
Endless, rising threads of time, will push us to Heaven's gate

All those green trees bringing beauty to our eyes
